business. Today, I’m home.
But, I keep glancing at my
favorite websites for goodies… you can’t stop a shopperJ
One of my favorite recent
purchases is my new portrait lens—a Canon 50mm f/ 1.2 L. After my camera and lens were stolen, I
decided to upgrade from a Canon 50mm f/ 1.4 USM… do I sound like the camera
version of a car guy?
This glass is smooooooth like
buuuuuuutter. One, there is great
focusing on this lens. Secondly, we are
drawn to photos with great bokeh the background blur—often broken into circles.
I’ve only edited photos at f/
1.8 for my furniture business (Óxido)—which has less blur than at 1.2. I still love the fast focusing, sharpness, and
how quiet this lens is.
I’ll take my 1.2 aperture out for a spin tonight when I
get the girls dressed to see Santa.
