Happy Valentine’s Day, Lovelies!

I hope you have a marvelous day with your loved ones!  Over here, at the blended H-L-M-B family, we’re headed to Chucky Cheese.  I’m smiling.  Being and family and being with a man who really loves his family, makes Chucky Cheese the most romantic restaurant on the planet this February 14th.  There is no other place I would want a reservation.

As many of you know, in typical Eddie fashion, I’m sporadically working on several businesses, my Lenten goals, learning HTML, perfecting off-camera-lighting, and trying my hand at world peace.  In the meantime, I have my first wedding expo this Sunday (dun-dun-dun-DUN!).  I’m nervous!

Help calm my nerves and come to the Big Day Bridal Expo this Sunday in Fredericksburg, VA.  I know it’s a trek, but I wanted to try something small and “affordable” for my first go-round.  May be you can find a lot of vendors like me-- small, quirky and affordable.  Email me if you want some coupons!

In closing, I leave you with this fun little cocktail recipe from the staged Valentine’s Day shoot.  Maybe you can impress your honey with the Strawberry-Bacon Whip.

Strawberry-Bacon Whip

1 1/2 oz           Strawberry Cordial
½ oz                Whip Creme Vodka (Pinnacle)
½ oz                Bacon Vodka
3 oz                 Vanilla-flavored Almond Milk
3 oz                 Muller Yogurt (Safeway)

In an ice-filled shaker, vigorously combine strawberry cordial, Whippy Cake Vodka, and bacon vodka.  Strain and gently blend in almond milk.  When combined, fold in yogurt.  Top with whip cream.
