Happy Friday,
Lovelies!
It’s Friday
already? This week really got away from
me!
Today, I’ll
like to share some more photos and information from our shoot at The Beekeepers Cottage, in my own words.
This year,
Gatsby-esk and Downton Abby inspired weddings are expected to be all the
rage. I love it! These type of weddings play up my love for
vintage, which has been popular for several years. This year, however, we’re seeing a bit more
glam. Burlap is starting to loose its
popularity. I’m a lover of burlap, but
I’m excited about the shiny details of the 1920s!
The Beekeeper’s Cottage was the perfect place to catch up glam details, especially the
accessories. I emailed with Anne, and
man, the ladies of The Beekeepers Cottage are so much fun! We excitedly poked around the fun jewelry
pieces until we found exactly the right items.
As we poked
around, Anne took the time to find exactly the right match. Working with clients to find “the” right item
is something Anne and the crew at The Beekeepers Cottage are known for. While walking around the store, I overheard a
client’s conversation—this is my mom’s favorite store!
Also, a bride
walked in, and within minutes picked up a vintage wooden Coca-Cola bottle
holder and vintage bottles- BAM!
Centerpiece done.
The makeup was
done by the augh-mazing Make Up by Tiffany M.
This shoot was the muted version of the Snow White styled shoot. Tiffany is awesome! Brides wants something that’s natural and
“them,” but more dramatic makeup helps brides pop on film. Tiffany is awesome at making women feel
natural and beautiful while stilling playing up a woman’s va-va-voom!
One last thing
I love-love-love about The Beekeeper’s Cottage—the smell! The Beekeeper’s Cottage carries a great line
of diffusers, candles, perfumes and hand creams. Delish!
In the car on the way home, I turned my head and the gentle, clean smell
of The Beekeepers Cottage untangled from my hair. …yum.
